Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
16 oz prepared shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
(from produce department)
1/4 x European seedless cucumber sliced thin sticks
1 sm red bell pepper seeded, and
thinly sliced
3 x scallions thinly sliced on
the bias
20 x fresh basil leaves shredded
----------------- DRESSING ----------------
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 x garlic clove minced
1/4 cup white distilled or rice wine vinegar
2 tsp sugar
(or 2 tbspns honey)
1 tbl soy sauce
2 tbl vegetable or canola oil
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
----------------- GARNISH ----------------
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine vegetables in a bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a small plastic container and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Drizzle sauce over vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Let stand 10 minutes and re-toss before serving and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.

This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.
