Yield:
1
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
10 oz white chocolate, chopped
2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped (or use good-quality chips)
Instructions:
Instructions: This bark also tends to be "melty" and should be stored in the refrigerator.

General Instructions for Bark:
Line a 15" by 10" baking sheet with aluminum foil, shiny side up. In medium heatproof bowl, combine chopped chocolate(s) and shortening. Place over simmering water on low heat (water should not touch bottom of bowl); stir very frequently till melted and smooth. Remove from heat and hot water. Dry bottom and sides of bowl. (Alternatively, place chopped chocolate(s) and shortening in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave at medium (50%) power for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly. Microwave at medium (50%) power for additional 30 second intervals, stirring well after each, until chocolate is melted and smooth.)

Add remaining ingredient(s) and stir in very well. Turn mixture onto lined baking sheet. With back of spoon, spread to a thin, even layer. Mixture may not cover entire surface of baking sheet-thats OK-the layer should just be reasonably thin. Chill until set. Break into irregular pieces. Store as directed.

Note: For the "Tiger" Bark, youll need two medium bowls. Melt the white chocolate with the peanut butter in one and the semisweet chocolate with the vegetable shortening in the other. Turn the peanut butter mixture onto the baking sheet and spread it out. Quickly place spoonfuls of the melted semisweet chocolate all over the top; swirl lightly with the tip of a flat knife (a plastic knife is good for this). Chill to set, break up, and store in refrigerator.

All of the above barks make between 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 pounds
