Instructions: Take head feet and haslet of pig:boil until done.Then cut up fine making sure to remove the bones.add black pepper salt and sage.2 onions chopped fine,a lil red pepper,1 tsp mace,1 tsp cloves.Put it back in the same vessel with liquor and cook well then thicken with flour.Add 2 hardboiled eggs and one cup walnut catsup.

By the way the book is called Housekeeping in old Virginia....UGGGG Nasty!
