Instructions: Optional add-ins: black olive paste, red chili flakes, minced grilled zucchini or eggplant, anchovies and toasted pine nuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, olive oil and seasoning. Mix well with spoon and set aside for 20 minutes. Place bread rounds on baking dish. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly toasted and golden brown. If desired, spray lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano before baking.
