Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inchround cake pans. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients and beat at low speed until moistened. Beat for 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly touched in center. Cool for 15 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely. Then, lightly spoon the flour into a measuring cup and level off. In medium saucepan, combine flour and milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture is very thick, stirring constantly. Cover the surface with plastic wrap and cool. In a large bowl, beat sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture by the teaspoonful, beating at high speed until smooth. Beat in vanilla. Fill and frost the cake, using 1 cup frosting between the layers.
