1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
40 x garlic cloves minced
3 lb halibut filets
1/4 cup vinegar plus
1 tbl vinegar
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
2 cup fish broth
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oil in large skillet with garlic over medium heat until garlic softens slightly, 4 to 5 minutes. Add fish, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste, broth and bay leaves. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, carefully turning fish once. Serve over a bed of soft polenta.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
