Instructions: Prepare a prebaked 9" pie shell; cool completely. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Mix together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, ground cloves, ground ginger, nutmeg, and salt. In the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, combine: egg yolks and milk. Stir in the sugar mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Mix in: pumpkin and butter. Remove the pan from the heat. Turn the filling into the crust. Bake 12-15 minutes.
