Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Using solid shortening, grease 9x13-inch pan. In bowl, combine first four ingredients by hand; stir until well blended.

Pour in pan; bake 25-30 minutes, or until it tests done. When cake comes out of oven, begin making the frosting.

Frosting:
In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Immediately pour over partially cooled cake.
