Ingredients:

1/2 cup Onion, chopped
2 tbl Butter
3 tbl Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
3 oz Can sliced mushrooms with their liquid
1 cup Table cream or half and half
2 tbl Dry sherry
2 cup Cooked turkey, cubed
1 cup Cooked ham, cubed
1/2 cup Sliced canned water chestnuts
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup Soft white bread crumbs
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Cook onions in butter until transparent. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, cayenne and nutmeg. Add mushrooms with their liquid, cream, and sherry and cook until thickened. Stir in the turkey, ham, chestnuts and almonds. Place in 6-cup casserole and sprinkle with cheese. In a small bowl mix crumbs and butter. Place them around the edge of the casserole. Bake at 400F degrees for 25 minutes or until well heated and lightly browned.
