1 tsp vegetable oil
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 x clove
1 x 14 1/2-ounce can fat-free chicken broth
2/3 cup whole kasha
2 x 4 1/2-ounce cans chopped green chiles
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
2 cup chopped cooked turkey
2 x 15-ounce cans rinsed and drained white beans
hot sauce
reduced-fat sour cream
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oil in a Dutch oven on medium. Cook onion and garlic 3 minutes or until softened. Add 3 cups water, broth, kasha, chiles, chili powder and cumin. Bring to boil; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until kasha is tender. Stir in cooked turkey and beans; cook 5 minutes until heated through. Season to taste with several dashes of hot sauce. Serve with sour cream and cheese.
