Instructions: Grease 9 x9 pan. Mix sugar, shortening, vanilla & eggs. Stir in flour, cocoa, b. powder & salt. Spread in pan. Sprinkle pecans over batter. Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 min. or til pick comes out clean. Heat caramels & milk over low heat, stirring frequently, til caramels are melted. Drizzle over warm brownies. Cool completely.
