Instructions: Beat egg yolks until light. Add to dry ingredients together with sour cream, vanilla, butter and almond flavoring. Knead well. Roll to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into strips 1 x 3 inches with pastry wheel.
Make a lengthwise slit in center of each strip and pull one end through. Fry in hot deep fat for approximately 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain on heavy paper. When cold, sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes 9 dozen. LViv, Ukraine circa 1995 Email this Recipe:
