Instructions: Break egg into transparent liquid ingredient measuring cup. Add water to measure 1/2 cup. With sharp knife, split vanilla bean in half lengthwise. With spoon, scrape seeds from bean and add to egg mixture; discard bean. Add egg mixture and remaining ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer, adding yogurt with water and almonds with flour. Process in basic/white bread cycle. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack. If desired, drizzle with Vanilla Frosting.
Vanilla Frosting: Combine 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 to 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Note: If desired, replace vanilla bean with 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Add extract with water. To measure flour and yogurt: spoon into standard dry ingredient measuring cup and level with a straight-edged knife. Email this Recipe:
