Instructions: PAN: 18 BY 26-INCH SHEET PAN TEMPERATURE: 375 F. OVEN

1. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR AND SALT. SET ASIDE FOR USE IN STEP 4.

2. CREAM SUGAR AND SHORTENING IN MIXER BOWL AT MEDIUM SPEED 3 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY.

3. ADD EGGS AND VANILLA GRADUALLY TO CREAMED MIXTURE. BEAT AT LOW SPEED 1 TO 2 MINUTES OR UNTIL SMOOTH.

4. DROP BY TEASPOONS IN ROWS, 4 BY 6 ONTO UNGREASED PANS.

5. BAKE 10 TO 12 MINUTES OR UNTIL VERY LIGHTLY BROWNED.

6. LOOSEN COOKIES FROM PANS WHILE STILL WARM.
