Ingredients:

1/2 cup Thick White Sauce (recipe follows) salt and pepper
3 x well beaten egg yolks
3 x stiff beaten egg whites
1 cup cooked or canned vegetables, chopped

3 tbl butter or fat
4 tbl flour
1 cup milk
Instructions:
Instructions: Stir White Sauce into egg yolks; add vegetables. Season to taste and fold in egg whites. Turn into greased casserole; bake in pan of hot water in moderate oven 325 for 45 to 6o minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.

Thick White Sauce:
Melt butter ; add flour and blend. Add milk and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add salt. For a rich sauce use cream or just before serving, stir in 1 well beaten egg yolk mixed with small amount of hot sauce.

Vegetable cooking water may be used as part of the liquid.
