1 med onion chopped
1 tbl vegetable oil
1/2 cup uncooked rosamarina (orzo) pasta
4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 tsp ground mustard
1 bag frozen sweet peas, potatoes and carrot (16 oz), thawed
1 can great northern beans - (15 to 16 oz) rinsed, drained
1 cup Reduced Fat Bisquick
2/3 cup cornmeal
1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp dried basil leaves
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook onion in oil over medium heat in Dutch oven, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender. Stir in pasta, broth, mustard, vegetables and beans. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

Stir together Bisquick, cornmeal, oregano and basil. Stir in milk just until dry ingredients are moistened.

Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto boiling stew; reduce heat to low. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Comments: Cornmeal gives a toothsome texture to the Herb Dumplings. Try it! You may find yourself adding cornmeal to all your dumplings.
