3 tbl vegetable oil
6 lrg garlic cloves coarsely chopped
1 tbl yellow miso
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1 lb assorted vegetables cut bite-size pieces
(such as broccoli, mushrooms, eggplant,
green beans, bell pepper and bean sprouts
1 x jalapeno chili seeded,
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oil in heavy large skillet over high heat. Add garlic and saute until golden, about 2 minutes. Add yellow miso, oyster sauce and sugar and stir to blend. Add vegetables and jalapeno and saute until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 12 minutes. Serve immediately.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Comments: Thai red chilies are used at Keos, but a sliced jalapeno chili will work just as well.
