2 cup Rice -- dry
1 tbl Soy Sauce
1 tsp Ginger
1 x clove Garlic -- minced
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper -- freshly ground
Instructions:
Instructions: Prepare vegetables first, then cook rice according to package instructions. If you like the texture of fried veggies, fry onions and mushrooms in a small amount of oil or broth. Add spices and vegetables to rice shortly before it has finished cooking. Cook mixture until veggies are done to your taste. You may use a frying pan, Dutch oven or wok to make this recipe. Suggested vegetables are: Carrots, diagonally sliced, Snow Peas, parboiled Broccoli- sliced, parboiled Cauliflower- sliced, Shallots- sliced, Onions-rings or quarters, Mushrooms-sliced, Tomatoes- sliced, or Water chestnuts- whole or sliced
