4 x eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk, scalded
Instructions:
Instructions: Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Slowly stir in hot milk. At once pour into unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon if desired. Bake in a very hot oven, 475 degrees for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 425 degrees and bake 10 minutes. Cool on rack.
