Ingredients:

1 pkt vermicelli (1 lb.)
2 cup packed fresh basil leaves
----------------- OR ----------------
1 cup packed fresh spinach leaves
----------------- AND ----------------
1/2 cup packed fresh parsley leaves
----------------- AND ----------------
2 tbl dried basil leaves
1 cup olive oil (do not substitute)
1 x cloves garlic (1 to 2)
1/2 cup pine nuts or walnuts
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook vermicelli according to package directions. Process garlic first then add the rest of the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Drain vermicelli, reserving a small amount of past a water. If Pesto is too thick, stir in one 1-4 tablespoons of reserved pasta water. Toss pasta with Pesto.

Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.
