Ingredients:

10 oz Boneless beef round
2 tsp Light margarine
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
1 x Garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp White vinegar
1/4 tsp Ground turmeric
1/8 tsp Ea: cumin, ground ginger
1/8 tsp Ea: dry mustard, red pepper
1/8 tsp Ea: black pepper, salt
3/4 cup Water
2 tbl Lemon juice
Instructions:
Instructions: On rack in broiling pan, broil steak, turning once, until rare; cut into 1-inch cubes. In 1 qt saucepan, heat margarine until bubbly; add onion & garlic and saute until onion is translucent. Add vinegar & seasonings and stir to combine; add steak and cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes.

Stir in water, cover pan, and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 1 hr. Stir in lemon juice and serve over rice.
