Instructions: Pour batter from a pitcher.

Pour batter in the center of the waffle iron grid.

Fill grid only 2/3 full. Do not overfill or batter will overflow.

Test heated waffle iron by sprinkling it with a few drops of water. When water bounces on surface, the heat is perfect.

Most waffles take 3 to 5 minutes to bake.

For crisper waffles, leave waffle in iron a minute or so after it stops steaming.

To freeze waffles, cool waffles completely on a wire rack after baking. Wrap each waffle separately in plastic wrap. Then place all in a plastic bag. Or place cooled waffles on a cookie sheet, freeze until firm and wrap well in plastic or foil.

Reheat frozen waffles in a toaster or in a 425 degree oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Or use a microwave.

Make a waffle sandwich with almost any filling.
