2 tbl unsalted butter - (1/4 stick)
12 oz sliced Black Forest ham cut into 2"-long
by 1/4"-wide strips
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3 tbl coarse-grained Dijon mustard
1/2 cup thinly-sliced green onions
8 sm frozen toaster waffles toasted
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add ham; saute until ham is heated through and ends are curled, about 5 minutes. Stir in cream, syrup, and mustard. Simmer until sauce is slightly thickened and coats ham, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1/3 cup onions.

Top toasted waffles with ham mixture. Sprinkle with remaining onions.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Comments: Add a salad and lemon meringue pie.
