Instructions: * Note: Two tablespoons milk may be substituted for bourbon.
Beat butter and 1 cup powdered sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in bourbon and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture beating until blended. (Mixture will be crumbly.) Stir in dates and walnuts. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight containers. This recipe yields about 3 1/2 dozen. Yield: 3 1/2 dozen Email this Recipe:
