1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1 x Egg, well beaten
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Milk
2 cup Flour
3 tsp Baking-powder
1/2 cup Chopped nuts
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream butter with sugar. Add egg. Beat thoroughly. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking-powder and salt. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Add nuts and flavoring. Mix thoroughly. Pour into shallow, well-oiled baking pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla or hard sauce. 6 servings.
