10 cup finely-torn day-old bread - (abt 7 slices)
1 tbl butter
1/4 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 cup coarsely-chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped onion
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
2 x egg yolks
1/2 cup boiling water
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix together the bread, butter, sage, thyme, walnuts, onion, salt and pepper to taste, and the egg yolks. Stir in the boiling water to make the dressing moist and sticky.

Spoon into the cavity of a turkey and bake according to instructions.

Or, spread the stuffing in a buttered 13- by 9-inch baking dish. Brush the surface with the melted butter. Bake at 325 degrees until it begins to brown around the edges, 45 to 55 minutes.

This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
