Instructions: Trim watercress stems. Wash and dry leaves, then place in a large salad bowl and set aside.
In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring, until crisp, 2 to 3 minutes. Drain bacon on paper towels, and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring until golden, about 2 min- utes. Remove garlic and discard. Add pine nuts and hazelnuts to the skillet, and cook, stirring until lightly browned, 5 to 6 minutes. Pour over watercress. Add vinegar and toss well. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with reserved bacon, and serve immediately.
