Instructions: Sift flour. Measure and sift again with soda and salt. In separate bowl, cream margarine with both sugars. Beat eggs into margarine and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Stir in dry ingredients. Add nuts, oats and chocolate bits. Stir well. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
