1/2 cup Wheat germ
1/2 cup Powdered milk
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Whole-wheat flour
6 tbl Butter-flavored shortening
1 x Egg
1 tsp Brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 F. Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Beat egg and combine with brown sugar. Add to flour mixture.

Gradually add water until a stiff dough is formed. Knead until smooth and pliable. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into the classic bone shape. Bake for 30 minutes. Store in refrigerator.
