Instructions: Cream shortening, sugar and peanut butter. Add egg. Beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking soda and salt; add to egg mixture and blend.
Roll dough out on a floured board to oblong (1/4 inch thick). Melt chocolate bits over hot water. Cool slightly. Spread chocolate over rolled out dough with spatula. Roll up and slice 1/4 inch thick. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees. Email this Recipe:
