1/2 cup milk same
1/2 cup water plus 2-tbs.
1 x egg plus 1
3 cup bread flour plus 1-c
3 tbl wheat germ plus 1-tbs
2 tbl instant potato flakes same
1/2 tsp salt plus 1/2-tsp
1/2 tbl oil plus 1/2-tbs
3 tbl sugar plus 1-tbs
1/2 tsp active dry yeast plus 1/2-tsp
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Place all ingredients in bread pan. Select LIGHT CRUST setting. Press START.

2. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from the pan, place on a cake rack and allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing. CRUST: Light. Bake Cycle: Light

Notes: For sandwiches we often use this hearty white bread because it holds up well in a lunchbox or picnic basket. Directions for 1+1/2-lb medium 12-slice loaf with adjustments for 2-lb large 16-slice loaf.
