1 cup Whole-wheat flour
1 cup All-purpose flour
1/2 tsp Baking powder
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 x Egg beaten
1 cup Buttermilk
3 tbl Honey
1 cup Raisins
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large bowl combine the flours, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Combine the 1 beaten egg, buttermilk, and honey. Add egg mixture to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Stir in raisins. Turn dough out onto a greased baking sheet; pat with wet fingers to an 8-inch round (dough will be wet). Brush with egg white.

Bake in a 350 degree oven about 25 minutes, or until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean. If necessary, cover with foil the last 5 minutes, to prevent overbrowning. Serve warm.
