12 x pancakes
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 x egg
1 cup low-fat milk
2 tbl vegetable oil
2 tbl honey
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine the flours, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Stir to mix well. In small bowl, combine the egg, milk, oil and honey in a small bowl. Stir to combine.

Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture. Stir it gently until it is smooth.

Heat a large skillet or pancake griddle over medium-high heat.

Spray it with cooking oil. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup (not completely full)

to pour the batter onto the skillet or griddle. Cook pancakes for about three minutes, or until little bubbles appear on top. Turn the pancakes over, and cook one to two minutes longer, until golden brown.

Serve with maple syrup, jam or fresh fruit and yogurt.
