225 gm Wholemeal, (wheat) flour
60 gm Flour
1 tsp Soda bicarb, (5 g)
225 ml Milk
140 ml Buttermilk
Instructions:
Instructions: SIFT together all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Make a well in the centre and add the milk, and mix till the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add in the buttermilk and beat well to obtain a smooth mixture. Stir in the melted butter and mix well.

Divide the mixture into 12 portions and pour into well greased muffin trays. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 220 C/425 F for 20 minutes or until brown in colour.
