Instructions: 1 1/2 Pounds beef stew meat, or more, cut in 1-inch cubes 2 tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 cup beef broth 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon paprika 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced 2 medium carrots, sliced 2 medium potatoes, diced 1 small white onion, chopped 1 stalk celery, sliced
Put beef in 4-quart slow cooker. Mix together flour, salt and pepper. Sprinkle over meat, stirring to coat each piece with flour. Add remaining ingredients. Stir to mix well. Cover. Cook on low heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high heat setting 4 to 6 hours. Stir stew thoroughly before serving. Email this Recipe:
