Instructions: Cook rice according to package directions. Cool slightly; stir in egg and onion. Preheat broiler. Cut a pocket in each steak. Stuff with rice mixture. Broil steaks 4" from heat until desired doneness. (Allow 4 to 6 minutes on each side for medium-rare.) Brush often with teriyaki sauce. Garnish with mushrooms and watercress, if desired.
Serves 6. May add water to sauce for a more mild taste. May use Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce instead of teriyaki. Good with three bean salad. Email this Recipe:
