1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 dsh Cayenne
1 sm Minced onion
1/2 x Minced green pepper
1/2 x Minced garlic clove
1 tsp Lemon juice
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 qt Oysters with liquid
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt butter in saucepan; add flour, cooking & stirring until light brown. Stir in paprika, salt, pepper & cayenne. Add onion, green pepper & garlic; cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat & add lemon juice, Worcestershire & oysters (which have been picked over & heated in own juice). Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with cracker crumbs. Bake in 400 oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
