Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 lrg onion, sliced and separated
into rings.
3 tbl butter or margarine
3 tbl all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 tbl instant beef bouillon granules
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme, crushed
24 x freezer meatballs (recipe above)
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 x 4-ounce can mushrooms stems and pieces,
drained
hot cooked noodles
snipped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: In a 10-inch skillet cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour. Add the water, bouillon granules, Worcestershire and thyme. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add the meatballs, wine and mushrooms. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until meatballs are heated through. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Garnish with snipped parsley and watercress if desired.

Makes 6 servings.
