Instructions: 1. In a large saucepan, saute the beef, celery, onions, and green pepper until the beef is browned, about 15 minutes. Drain.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the water, label and freeze. 3. When preparing to serve, thaw and add 1-1/2 cups water. Simmer 30 minutes covered or until barley is tender. Makes 6 servings. tml" NOTES : I think Id reduce the amount of ground turkey and increase the barley. Id also use broth instead of water. The original recipe called for ground beef instead of turkey.
