Instructions: This recipe is for those who like a crispy thin pizza crust. It can be made as thin as a cracker. The thinner it is, the better the taste. Break one into large pieces to eat with soup, dip or spreads.
Put a cast iron skillet on a burner & set the heat on high. In a medium metal or glass bowl mix all the ingredients. Using a fork, knead the dough for 3 minutes. Pull off a piece of dough the size of a golf ball. Roll it out using a rolling pin. Use as much flour as is necessary to keep the dough from sticking to the rolling pin & work surface. When its rolled to the thickness of a tortilla, lay it flat in the hot skillet. Cook 30 seconds to 2 minutes on each side (depending on how brown you want the crust). Add pizza sauce, fat free cheese, or whatever toppings you wish. Pop under the broiler, or in the oven at 350F. for 10 minutes. These crusts can be stored for later use, but theyre so crispy that theyll pick up moisture from the air no matter what you put them in. A sealed tin is best. They can be crisped up by popping them in the oven at 325F. for a few minutes. Makes 6 crusts. Email this Recipe:
