1 cup corn meal
1 cup flour
3 tbl sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 pkt yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
1 x egg
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix dry ingredients. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add egg, milk and yeast mixture. Stir, pour into greased pan. Let rise until double. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until test done. Serve hot with butter.
