Instructions: If squash is tender, dont peel it. Wash and slice in 1/2" inch cubes. Add onion, peppers, and garlic. Mix well. Add 1/4 cup salt and cover with ice and let stand 3 hours. Drain well. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over squash mixture. Heat to a boil and let boil 10 minutes. Pack hot into hot jars.
